Bob Gibson was a member of 8 All-Star teams and 2 World Championship teams. He won 9 Gold Gloves and he led his league in Victories, Strikeouts and Earned Run Average once each. In 1968 he was selected as the National League's Most Valuable Player and he won the first of 2 Cy Young Awards, the second coming in 1970. Gibson threw one No-Hitter during his career. In 1981 he was inducted into the Hall of Fame and in 2000 he was named to the All Century Team.
