Lefty Grove was a member of 6 All-Star teams and 2 World Championship teams. He led his league in Strikeouts 7 times, Earned Run Average 9 times, Victories 4 times and Saves once. He won the pitching Triple Crown 2 times in 1930 and 1931 and in 1931 he was also selected as the American League's Most Valuable Player. Grove was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1947 and in 2000 he was named to the All Century Team.
