Willie McCovey was selected as the 1959 National League Rookie of the Year. He was a member of 6 All-Star teams. McCovey led his league in Home Runs 3 times and RBIs twice. He was selected as the National League's Most Valuable Player in 1969. McCovey was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1986 and in 2000 he was named to the All Century Team.
