Mark McGwire has been selected to 12 All-Star teams and he has been a member of one World Championship team. McGwire was named the 1987 American League Rookie of the Year. He has led his league in RBIs once and Home Runs 5 times including his rookie year in 1987. In 1998 he broke Roger Maris' 37 year-old record for home runs in a season when he hit 70. McGwire has won one Gold Glove and in 2000 he was named to the All Century Team.
